Stockman's Challenge -

Competitors are to complete a course designed to demonstrate maximum skill, control and maneuverability of their horse in a time trial format.

ENTRIES:

Entries will be taken at the ticket box until 2pm for a 3pm start. Riders may enter as many different horses as they wish

Juniors (under 16) $10

COURSE:

Each obstacle is worth an allocated number of points, and each run is times. Riders are allowed TWO (2) attempts at each obstacle. After the 2nd unsuccessful attempt, riders will be instructed to move on. The horse and rider combination with the most points and quickest time is the winner.

OBSTACLES TO EXPECT:

• Jump - Option of Wool Bale (20 points; opens only); Laying down single barrel (10 points) OR Hay bales (5 points)
• 2x Whip targets (10 points Each)
• Chaff bag drag (10 points)
• Curtain (10 points)
• Seesaw (10 points)
• Backing Poles (10 points)
• Tyre (all 4 feet; 10 points)
• Lasso - Points for throw only awarded if horse is immobile; throw and catch object (10 points); throw and miss object (5points)
• Tarp (10 points)
